About Societex

Industry

SCGI and ASTUS are two industrial companies located near Le Creusot (Saône-et-Loire), specializing in the manufacturing of fabricated, welded and machined metal parts.

The Group (SCGI + ASTUS) produces custom medium- to heavy-duty metal components, in small and medium production runs, primarily for the nuclear sector. Its clients notably include Framatome, Westinghouse, Arabelle Solutions, and Naval Group.

The Group stands out in particular for its ability to industrialize specific components (e.g., turbine blades for General Electric produced in batches of 300 to 400 units).

Its operations are structured around three complementary and synergistic business units:

  • Stainless steel fabrication (SCGI): industrial metal fabrication, welding, and finishing of metal parts;
  • 3D laser cutting and welding (SCGI): cutting and welding of metal parts up to 15 meters in length;
  • Machining (ASTUS): milling and turning of all types of metals.

The Group employs 17 FTEs across two production sites.

Systel Électronique is an independent French company, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Montchanin (Saône-et-Loire).
