1952: founding of SOCIETEX by André CORET, pioneer of inter-company agreements and inventor of the GIE (economic interest group). SOCIETEX founded the profession of consulting for mergers and acquisitions.
1972: acquisition by the ROUX consulting firm that brought its Studies and Financial Evaluation Department to SOCIETEX.
1988: taken over by TROOSTWIJK, a Dutch consulting group.
1998: co-founder of the IMAP international network in Europe. IMAP is ranked sixth in the world for completed middle-market transactions.
2008: one of the top independent firms, No. 12 on the French market (source: Capital Finance), with 400M€ in transactions and 20 operations carried out with 15 consultants.
